Key Responsibilities
The DSD Route Sales Representative is responsible for managing a sales route of approximately 16-18 customers per day, ensuring all accounts are visited on a weekly or biweekly basis.
Customer Service & Satisfaction
- Sell and deliver products to customers while maintaining strong relationships.
- Represent the company professionally in the market and ensure a 100% weekly service efficiency rate.
- Monitor product rotation to maintain freshness and quality.
Sales & Business Growth
- Develop customer relationships and identify sales opportunities.
- Negotiate promotions and new product introductions with store managers/owners.
- Coordinate and lead in-store promotional activities.
- Use the sales toolkit to maximize customer potential.
- Retain existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand the customer base.
Route Management & Profitability
- Manage route itineraries and customer portfolios for optimal efficiency.
- Assess route productivity and make necessary adjustments.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Merchandise and rotate products to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Place, review, and upload daily product orders before leaving the warehouse.
- Handle cash collection, convert to money orders when needed, and complete daily sales reconciliation with the check-in clerk.
- Maintain truck cleanliness, integrity, and inventory control.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in DSD (Direct Store Delivery).
- Experience working in small-to-mid-sized DSD companies is a plus.
Technical & Physical Requirements
- Proficient in using technological devices (tablets, smartphones, and route management software).
- Comfortable working independently and driving extensively within the metro area.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and manage physical product deliveries.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week
