About the role:
The Collections Specialist will have the overall responsibilities for the collection of all accounts receivables, monitor customer accounts, approve or decline credit orders, and provide timely and effective resolutions to escalated billing and collection issues with an emphasis on customer service. The Collections Specialist will act as the first port of call for internal and external contacts regarding basic queries to clarify facts, achieve cash collection targets and exchange information.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Checking accounts in arrears to ensure appropriate actions are taken
- Contact customers via phone, email, and written communication regarding account balances
- Monitor progress of payment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account notes and records
- Coordination of activity between our sales team and our outsourced collections team
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Maintain professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions
Requirements:

Previous experience in collections and customer service, preferred
- Knowledge of collection techniques
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
