Key Responsibilities

The DSD Route Sales Representative is responsible for managing a sales route of approximately 16-18 customers per day, ensuring all accounts are visited on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Customer Service & Satisfaction

Sell and deliver products to customers while maintaining strong relationships.
Represent the company professionally in the market and ensure a 100% weekly service efficiency rate.
Monitor product rotation to maintain freshness and quality.

Sales & Business Growth

Develop customer relationships and identify sales opportunities.
Negotiate promotions and new product introductions with store managers/owners.
Coordinate and lead in-store promotional activities.
Use the sales toolkit to maximize customer potential.
Retain existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand the customer base.

Route Management & Profitability

Manage route itineraries and customer portfolios for optimal efficiency.
Assess route productivity and make necessary adjustments.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

Merchandise and rotate products to maintain proper inventory levels.
Place, review, and upload daily product orders before leaving the warehouse.
Handle cash collection, convert to money orders when needed, and complete daily sales reconciliation with the check-in clerk.
Maintain truck cleanliness, integrity, and inventory control.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in DSD (Direct Store Delivery).
Experience working in small-to-mid-sized DSD companies is a plus.

Technical & Physical Requirements

Proficient in using technological devices (tablets, smartphones, and route management software).
Comfortable working independently and driving extensively within the metro area.
Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and manage physical product deliveries.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to changing market conditio

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week
